I established Koi Communications in 2013 with a desire to help small business owners and entrepreneurs get the most out of their marketing efforts, using simple, cost effective strategies.
After a decade spent devising marketing strategies for large multinational brands including Westin and Novotel hotels as well as successful online Australian businesses including Adore Beauty and NoteMaker, I realised that my true passion lay in assisting small businesses create and sustain successful and profitable ventures.
I love marketing and public relations and the whole creative process behind it. I want to get businesses excited about promoting their products or services and finding innovative ways to tell their story.
Whether you are seeking to expand your customer base, delve into the world of social media or make a difference, I believe that marketing and the way we do business in general can be and should be more mindful, more authentic, more fun!
It's not about making a quick buck but really understanding your customer base to create sustainable business model that will get people excited about what you have to offer and keep them coming back for more.

I know the challenges faced by both large and small businesses when it comes to creating compelling communications campaigns that effectively achieve goals. I've worked on the marketing and public relations strategies for hospitality brands including Westin, Novotel, Adelphi Hotel, Om Nom Kitchen & Dessert Bar, online retailers such as Adore Beauty, NoteMaker and Tinitrader, bricks and mortar businesses in Melbourne such as The Lab Organics and Curious Grace as well as entrepreneurial start-ups like the successful Baby Bistro. I know that you don't need a huge budget to achieve great things. You just need a mix of the right tools, insights and creativity to develop ideas that will reach your desired customers (that's where I come in.)
My unique approach combines insightful business practices with strategic solutions to ensure you are connecting and collaborating with your ideal client, fostering a sense of community engagment and learning how to market your business for growth.
When I'm not with my clients you'll find me chanting 'om' at my local yoga studio, exploring all that Melbourne has to offer with my family, engrossed in a book or dreaming up my next travel adventure (wanderlust is my middle name.)
